  1. Return Policy
    Due to the custom nature of The Pitter Pat House clothing we cannot accept returns. We take tremendous pride in constructing your garment and want you to be pleased with the final product. We will send a final ticket for your evaluation before production begins. Once construction begins no changes or cancellations will be accepted. Please make sure you have reviewed your selections carefully.

    Any error or defect in construction must be reported via email within FIVE DAYS of receipt. Items that must be returned will be repaired or exchanged for a new garment of equal value. We are not responsible for natural wear on garments, nor are we responsible for items that have not been laundered properly.

  2. Order Fulfillment Policy
    Since each order is custom made to your specifications please allow 3-4 weeks for shipment, orders taken close to holidays WILL TAKE LONGER. We will notify you in the final ticket with an estimated shipment date. If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know! We will try to accommodate those requests.

    If you need to place a rush on an item please contact me to verify I have the fabric, trims and time to fulfill your order. A rush fee of $25, to cover production and shipping, will be added to the final ticket sent before construction begins.

  3. Payment Policy
    For your added protection The Pitter Pat House has chosen to use PayPal email invoice as our payment method. Once we have collaborated to create the perfect outfit for your little one we will email you an invoice. Using the PayPal secure server you will be able to pay using any major credit card, debit card or directly from your checking account. You do not have to have a PayPal account to use this payment method. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us.

  4. Shipment Policy
    We will gladly ship to anywhere in the United States. Shipping prices are based on the total amount of your order. All items will be shipped USPS Priority Mail, with the exception of rush orders which will be shipped FED EX or UPS for an additional $25.

    Upon shipment you will be sent a tracking number via email. Please allow 2 to 10 business days for your order to arrive after it is shipped by us. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur during transit. If you wish to purchase shipping insurance an additional fee will be charged. We are also not responsible for delayed or longer transit times, especially during busy season such as Christmas. Shipment costs are as follows.

    • $25.00 - $49.99 =$6.00
    • $50.00 - $99.99 =$7.00
    • $100.00 - $149.99 = $8.00

    The privacy of our clients is of the utmost importance to us. To better protect you the following explains the information we collect, how it is used and how it is protected.

    What Information We Collect:
    As part of the order process, the following information is collected from shoppers:
    • Name
    • Shipping/Billing Address
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    All payments are done via PayPal's secure encrypted server and is the most secure way to purchase your custom clothing. No one at The Pitter Pat House will ever see your payment information. We simply email you an invoice, you chose how to pay, and we are notified when the payment has cleared our account. It's that easy and completely secure.

    How That Information Is Used:
    This information is used to fill orders, to contact clients, and to send emails keeping you informed about all the wonderful things going on at The Pitter Pat House.

    Your information will NEVER be sold or distributed.

  6. Sizing Guidelines
    Please remember these are GENERAL sizing guidelines. These are to help you determine which size might be best for your child. The ideal situation would be to have exact measurements for your child's garment and these guidelines are a good place to start. Average weight and height for sizes. We have found that height is a better indicator of size than weight. If in doubt you may wish to order up a size, as children will always grow!

    • 6 mo, height 25-28, weight 12-15
    • 12 mo, height 27-29, weight 16-19
    • 18 mo, height 29-31, weight 19-23
    • 24 mo/2T, height 31-33, weight 23-26 boys/23-30 girls
    • 3T, height 34-37, weight 26-34 boys/30-36 girls

    Any size above 4T MUST HAVE CUSTOM MEASUREMENTS
    To ensure the perfect fit, we have given you the proper way to measure your child. Do not measure to tightly as it will be uncomfortable for your child.

    Chest - With child's arms down, slip measuring tape under arms and across chest holding tape firm and level.

    Waist - Measure around the natural waistline, just above the belly button. Pants with elastic waist will be as follows UNLESS otherwise specified: 6 months-11 inches, 12 months-14 inches, 18 months-15 inches, 24 months/2T-18 inches, 3T-19 inches, 4T-20 inches. Any item smaller than 6 months or larger than 4T, MUST HAVE CUSTOM WAIST MEASUREMENTS!

    Hem Length - To see where the hem will fall on your child, please measure down from the top of shoulder to where you would like the hem to be.

    Inseam - Measure pants that fit child well. Lay them flat with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from crotch to bottom of leg hem.
